A project on viticulture and winemaking is being implemented in Sudak

In Sudak, a project on viticulture and winemaking is being implemented with a total investment of 80 million rubles. The project starts in August 2019 and has already reached the stage of practical implementation.

Vineyards and future production of the project, which is supported by the Crimea Development Corporation with the support of the Ministry of Economic development of the Republic of Crimea, there are located on three land plots, their total area is almost 40 hectares.

"As part of the investment project, the investor laid out vineyards with an area of about 30 hectares, including Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Installed trellis system of the vineyard, drip irrigation, pruning of bushes, garter, fragments of shoots. We also purchased equipment: a weather station, a tractor, a tractor trailer, a sprayer, a cultivator, semi-trailer irrigation equipment", said Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the
Crimea Development Corporation.

Now, the necessary staff is being recruited. At the end of the project, 25 jobs will be created.
Taxes expected to be paid to the Federal budget, the budget of the Republic of Crimea and the local budget will amount to 49,659 thousand rubles within 10 years, starting from the date of implementation of the project.

In addition, as a social burden, the investor must participate in the socio-economic development of Sudak city. Thus, a fence for a football field has already been purchased for the amount of more than 1.5 million rubles.
