Irina Kiviko: The grape harvest has become a record in seven years in 2021

The gross grape harvest in 2021 exceeded 122 thousand tons, which was the highest result in the last seven years, including due to the support of farmers. Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko, reported this.

"RUB 2.4 billion have been allocated to support agriculture in 2021, of which RUB 2.3 billion from the Federal budget. As a result, agricultural production increased by 19.3% and amounted to more than RUB 71.5 billion, which is due to an increase in crop production by 36.2%," Irina Kiviko said.

According to her, Crimean farmers collected over 1.4 million tons of grain and leguminous crops (in weight after completion), which is 1.6 times more than in 2020, fruit and berry products were collected 1.3 times more - about 164 thousand tons.
