More than 40 participating regions, 70 speakers take part in the tourist forum "Intourmarket. Open Crimea", which is held in online environments on November 18th-19th, 2021

Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko read out a welcoming speech to the participants and organizers of the forum on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov.

In his welcoming speech, the Head of the Republic noted the importance of the Forum in the economic and social life of the republic.

"I would like to note that the tourism industry in the Republic of Crimea has adapted quite quickly to work in new conditions. The 2021 season has become a record in terms of the number of vacationers.At the same time, outbreaks of morbidity are not allowed, all recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor are observed. The modernization of the tourism infrastructure continues, new accommodation facilities are being opened. I am sure that the forum will contribute to the further development of domestic tourism in our country," Sergey Aksyonov said in his welcoming speech.

In addition, the Head of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea on Tourism, Resorts and Sports Oksana Sergienko welcomed the participants on behalf of the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov.

In his welcoming speech, he said that the peninsula, despite the pandemic challenges, continues to be one of the main centers of domestic tourism and recreation. We can say that Crimea has adapted to the conditions of coronavirus restrictions.

Participants of the plenary session "Domestic tourism in Russia andCOVID-19: preservation or development". They will discuss global trends in the development of the tourism industry in the post COVID reality, the development of domestic tourism against the backdrop of opening borders, as well as trends in business and event tourism.

Representatives of the Crimea Development Corporation took part in the forum and presented the investment opportunities of the Crimea.

The organizer of the forum is the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea supported by the Federal Agency for Tourism (Rosturizm).
