Participants of the Free Economic Zone of Crimea and Sevastopol will receive additional benefits

The Government of the Russian Federation has approved the size of the coefficients necessary to determine the amount of benefits at reduced rates of insurance premiums provided to participants of the Free Economic Zone in the territories of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, which received the status from 1 January 2018. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

This benefit is established for the entire period of operation of the FEZ to 2039.
At the same time, the maximum amount of the benefit provided is determined in accordance with the coefficients established by the Government, depending on the volume of capital investment made and the type of economic activity carried out by the FEZ participant during the implementation of the investment project.

"In fact, the FEZ participant now has the opportunity to fully compensate for the investment made, and in some cases receive a preference from the state up to 1.5 times higher than the volume of investment made. The establishment of this benefit eliminates the unequal conditions for doing business for investors who received the status of a participant in the FEZ in the first three years of its operation, and persons who received the corresponding status after such a period, " said Sergey Nazarov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia.

Reference: At the moment, 1660 participants of the Free Economic Zone are registered in the territories of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol (in Crimea - 1266, in Sevastopol - 394).
The volume of investment made over five years by the participants of the FEZ reached 157 billion rubles.105 billion rubles of them are accounted for by capital investment made by the participants of the FEZ during the same period.
