Crimea Development Corporation together with the National PPP Center (VEB of the Russian Federation) has organized an educational program

Crimea Development Corporation together with the National PPP Center (VEB of the Russian Federation) has organized an educational program on the use of Public-private partnership mechanisms. The one-day program was held with the participation of First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea Anushavan Aghajanyan and specialists of ministries and municipalities.

Throughout the day, the Center's experts talked about the implementation of PPP projects in the field of urban transport and main infrastructure, in the field of physical culture and sports, healthcare, school and preschool education.

They also discussed the provision of federal subsidies and requirements for the registration of an application of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation for participation in the selection of projects.   The use of Public-private partnership and concession mechanisms in the implementation of projects plays an important role: it contributes to economic development, attracts investment, and helps to create the necessary infrastructure to improve the quality of life of Crimeans.

Currently, two concession agreements have been concluded in the region regarding photo and video recording systems for traffic violations. In addition, a quasi-PPP project is being implemented on the territory of the republic – an investment agreement on the creation of an automated fare payment system on regular transportation routes in the region.

We are working on projects in the field of housing and communal services. In addition, the Concept of PPP development until 2025 has been approved, and the PPP Development Plan in the Republic of Crimea for 2020-2021 is being implemented.
