A prosthetics and rehabilitation center will be built in Simferopol

In Simferopol, the investor will build a Center for prosthetics and rehabilitation for 31.4 million rubles. The Center will provide professional services to people who need prosthetic and orthopedic products.

On a land plot of 2 thousand square meters, a Center will be built with built-in production and office premises, retail and rehabilitation halls, wards for patients from the regions of the Crimea, a warehouse and points for issuing technical rehabilitation equipment, social and engineering infrastructure facilities for privileged categories of citizens.

Now, a land lease agreement has been signed, and the investor has started preparing design and estimated documentation.

To date, there are three specialized Centers in the Crimea − two in Simferopol and one in Sevastopol. It is noted that on average, one prosthesis is made in 2-4 weeks, and the cost of the prosthesis varies from 20 thousand rubles to several million rubles (bionic prosthesis). However, prosthetics are carried out mainly at the expense of public resources.
