Prospects of cooperation between Crimea and Belarus discussed at the Crimea Development Corporation
Daniil Pidaev, Director General, spoke about the investment potential of Crimea during the meeting. Anushavan Aghajanyan noted that constructive friendly relations are developing between the Republic of Crimea and the Republic of Belarus. At the beginning of April this year, Crimea presented its tourism and sanatorium-resort potential for the tourism business of Belarus at the largest industry exhibition "Rest-2022". In addition, in June last year, within the framework of the business mission of the Crimean delegation in Minsk, prospects for cooperation between the regions in the trade and economic sphere and support measures for exporters from the Russian Export Center were considered. "Today we are ready to discuss cooperation in attracting investment between Crimea and Belarus," Anushavan Aghajanyan said. Daniil Pidaev stressed that in modern conditions Crimea is ready to become a major investment platform not only for Russian investors, but also for partners from friendly countries. According to him, the Corporation provides all the necessary support for the design and implementation of the investment project, and the republic provides production facilities and territories for representatives of all business sectors. "Cooperation between the Crimea Development Corporation and the Mogilev Regional Development Agency is designed to strengthen good relations between our republics and promote their socio-economic development. Our common tasks are to improve the mechanisms of investor support, to organize mutually beneficial information exchange in matters of investment activity," Daniil Pidaev said.
