The only dogwood garden and medicinal herbs in Crimea: investor expands production

In Simferopol district, «Raduga» plant farm, specializes in growing medicinal raw materials. It is expanding its production. The project to preserve the existing enterprise and its further development is supported by Development Corporation of the Republic of Crimea under the leadership of the Ministry of economic development of the Republic of Crimea.

Specialists of Crimea Development Corporation carried out a field inspection at the investment site of the largest production, where the first results are already noticeable. Thus, on 24 hectares of land grows a grain crop − barley − and it was purchased a new agricultural equipment. ⠀

In the future, the investor plans to expand production: on land plots to grow cereals (except rice), legumes, oilseeds, vegetables, mushrooms and truffles; perennial crops and other fruit trees.

Note that the company has the only dogwood garden in Crimea with an area of 15 hectares. Products are delivered not only to local markets, but also to the mainland. The plant also grows high-quality raw materials such as sage, peppermint, hyssop, lemon catnip, oregano, artichoke, nettle, mint, vegetables and rare crops. It is interesting that plant farm «Raduga» LLC has been formed in 1944 as a specialized enterprise for growing, harvesting and processing medicinal plants and for the next 75 years, it did not change its specialization.
