The first shark tank for reef sharks from Singapore will be built in Crimea

The Investment Climate Improvement Council in the republic has approved the investment project on the creation of the first shark tank in Crimea. Businessman Viktor Zhilenko told TASS that he intends to build a shark tank on the eastern coast of Crimea, to accommodate reef sharks, as well as crocodiles.

By the summer
Exhibition pavilions and car parking will be located on a 2-hectare plot. Reef sharks totaling 20-30 individuals will be imported from Singapore and there is already an agreement with Moscow firms that can deliver them.
All pets indoors with access to outdoor enclosures for the summer are supposed to place. It is also planned to carry out hourly feeding of sharks and crocodiles, which is of interest to tourists.
The project can be implemented by the summer holiday season of 2022.

Without katrans
There will be no Black Sea sharks in the shark tank, since this is a deep species and their maintenance requires special conditions - creating water pressure.
The Head of the Feodosiya administration, Andrey Lebedev, confirmed to TASS that the city authorities are ready to provide assistance and support in all matters that may arise during the project implementation. The Mayor noted that similar projects of amusement parks already implemented in other cities have become points of attraction for tourists. "I am sure that the Feodosian theme park will be more interesting and attractive, including for Feodosian families where children grow up," Andrei Lebedev added.
