All-Russian tourist Forum "Open Crimea" has come to an end 

During two days of the forum, authorities, entrepreneurs and experts discussed topical issues of the tourism industry development, as well as discussed forecasts for the upcoming season.
On the first day of the forum, welcoming the participants, guests and organizers of the forum, Sergey Aksyonov stressed that strategic decisions are developed and made at such sites, approaches, tactics and methods of work are discussed.

The Head of the Crimea also drew the attention of those present to the fact that the coronavirus pandemic has made certain adjustments to the tourist season. In particular, tourist destinations and working conditions of accommodation facilities have changed.

"Of course, in these conditions, competition for tourists grows, the main thing is the price-quality ratio, approaches, the level of service itself on the ground. It often happens that the hotel corresponds to five stars in terms of equipment, and does not correspond to them in terms of service approaches," said the Head of the Republic of Crimea. In turn, the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko noted that the tourist flow to the Crimea in 2021 exceeds the record number of guests in 2019 more than 20% tourists have already rested on the peninsula than in the same period of the pre-pandemic period.

During the second day of the forum, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea Alexander Tkachenko and heads of business support and development organizations held a presentation section "Tools for state support of the Crimean tourist business".
"Crimea is a unique region, where a wide range of investment opportunities is presented.
Businessmen are interested in the region as an investment site, in particular for the implementation of such projects as the construction and modernization of accommodation facilities, the creation of themed campsites, tourist routes and new display facilities.
For example, last year, in Alushta, a project in the field of ecotourism was launched the investor equips tourist routes and health trails.

At the moment, the Corporation has 34 investment projects in the field of resorts and tourism with a total of 34 billion rubles of declared investment, more than a thousand jobs are being created," Anastasia Yarullina, Deputy Chief Executive Officer - Head of the Long-term Development Department of the Crimea Development Corporation, said during her speech.

Anastasia Yarullina also noted the importance of close cooperation between the Corporation and relevant ministries in supporting business in priority sectors of the economy.
In addition, during all the days of the forum, the stand of the Crimea Development Corporation has been opened, where you could get advice on the conditions for implementing an investment project in the territory of the republic, available benefits and preferences, as well as promising areas for investment.

A total of 8 breakout events were held within the framework of the Forum, where 50 speakers from 11 regions of Russia spoke.
The forum is organized by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea with the support of the Federal Agency for Tourism (Rosturizm).
