The first state industrial park has been created in Crimea

The first state industrial park was created in the Republic of Crimea on the basis of the Dzhankoy Machine-Building Plant. Dmitry Vorona, CEO of the Crimea Development Corporation announced about that in the program "Postscriptum" on the TV channel "Crimea-24".

"The first state industrial park has been created in Crimea, in Dzhankoy. We set ourselves such a task, and we were able to do it. On the basis of the Dzhankoy Machine-Building Plant, we were able to register the first industrial park in the Crimea. It was created on the basis of the existing workshops of the plant, which we were able to preserve, save from destruction," Dmitry Vorona said.

According to him, the Crimea Development Corporation will attract investors and residents to the park on the principles of long-term lease, making investment by a resident in the reconstruction of existing industrial facilities.

"Starting from January 2022, we will start inviting residents to work in our park. We are starting to develop it and we really hope that we will be able to restore the industrial potential of the Northern Crimea," Dmitry Vorona stressed.

The CEO of the Corporation said that negotiations were held with a number of potential residents of the park. We are talking about the production of mechanical engineering products, the organization of the production of building materials, large-panel housing construction, glass products.

He thanked the leadership of the republic and personally the Head of the Crimea Sergey Aksyonov for supporting the initiative of the Crimea Development Corporation to preserve the integrity of the territory of the Dzhankoy Machine Plant and the creation of an industrial park.
The territory of the Dzhankoy Machine-Building Plant was not chosen by chance. This enterprise with more than a century of history, has an extensive network of buildings, structures, areas where production of any complexity can be located. The company produced agricultural machinery products. It has not been working since the mid-2000s.

The total area is about 26 hectares. It is assumed that the industrial technopark will be located on an area of about 6 hectares, industrial - more than 20 hectares. This is almost 70 thousand square meters of production, warehouse and administrative premises.
The territory is located in an industrial zone, with existing access roads, including railway ones.


JSC "Crimea Development Corporation" was established on the initiative of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea in 2015. The corporation is defined as a specialized organization for attracting investment and working with investors on the principle of "one spot shop" concept and is engaged in the search for investors, promotion of the investment potential of the republic, comprehensive support of investors, selection of investment sites, provision of consulting services.

As part of the implementation of a special procedure for working with investors, 222 investment projects are being implemented on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, with a total investment volume of RUB 221.01 billion.
