Irina Kiviko: Crimea and Mogilev will cooperate in attracting investment

The Crimea Development Corporation and the Mogilev Regional Development Agency (Republic of Belarus) intend to cooperate in attracting investment, assisting investors in the implementation of joint projects.
Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko, announced this.
"Cooperation between the Mogilev Regional Development Agency of Belarus and the Crimea Development Corporation will be another step to strengthen interregional ties within the framework of the Union State, will promote socio-economic development, the influx of investment in construction, recreation, agriculture and others," Irina Kiviko stressed. She said that the cooperation agreement between the Crimea Development Corporation and the Mogilev Regional Development Agency is planned to be signed within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. A preliminary agreement on cooperation was reached during negotiations between the leadership of the Ministry of Economic Development and Crimea Development Corporation with the leadership of the Mogilev Regional Development Agency. "This will be the first cooperation agreement between the regional authorized bodies for attracting investment of the Republic of Crimea and Belarus," Irina Kiviko said. The Deputy Prime Minister recalled that Belarus accounts for 21% of the export operations of the Republic of Crimea and cooperation is developing.
For reference: In early April, at the international exhibition and fair of tourist services "Rest - 2022" in Minsk, an agreement was reached on the supply of Crimean wines, essential oil products and Saki mud to Belarus. Representatives of Belarus are invited to participate in the key Crimean industry exhibition "Intourmarket Crimea", the International Forum "Time for Export" and the investment Yalta International Economic Forum.
