Irina Kiviko: The Investment Council plays an essential role in the economic life of Crimea

The Investment Council plays an essential role in economic life of the Republic of Crimea, not only the issues for the attracting of investment are solved at its meeting, but also the control over the projects implementation is being carried out.

Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko reported about that, who chaired a regular meeting of the Investment Climate Improvement Council on the territory of the Republic of Crimea.

"Today’s meeting was held in a constitutive way. The supplements to already implemented agreements were considered, new projects were approved," I. Kiviko said.

The Deputy Prime Minister reported that among new projects are the construction and exploitation of road service complex with infrastructure facilities in Belogorsk district, the
improvement of embankment and construction of a modern recreational complex in one of the villages in the southern cost.

According to her, 219 investment projects with a total investment volume of RUB 221.8 billion are being implemented in Crimea in the framework of a special procedure for working with investors.
