Russia's Crimea estimates China's potential investment at $3 billion

Dmitriy Vorona, CEO of the Russian Corporation for the Crimea Development Corporation, said in an interview with the Russian news agency "Sputnik" that China's potential investment in the Crimean economy in the next few years could amount to about $3 billion.
He said: "Overall, I estimate that the potential Chinese investment will be around $3 billion.
Therefore, just now the  Crimea Development Corporation is engaged in the popularization of the Crimea in China. We have published a special issue of the magazine "Invest in Crimea" in Chinese, at the same time we are completing the translation of our website into Chinese language. At the moment, we are working together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to distribute materials about the Crimea in the representative offices of our country, as well as in foreign trade missions abroad".

He added: "Chinese investors have shown great interest in agriculture, the cultivation of grapes and medicinal herbs, the production of essential oils, the entertainment industry, in addition, after the new coronavirus infection, they have shown great interest in the possibilities of balneological resorts and our famous rehabilitation centers".
