The programme of preferential lending to FEZ participants came into operation on January 1, 2022.
Applications will be accepted from February 25, 2022 and will last 20 days.
Under the terms of this programme, the interest rate on a loan granted to a participant of the Free Economic Zone for the implementation of an investment project is compensated in the amount of
the key interest rate of the Bank of Russia.
At the same time, the interest rate under the loan agreement cannot exceed twice the size of the key interest rate of the Bank of Russia.
"One more positive aspect will be added to the attractive conditions for the participants of the Free Economic Zone – preferential lending. This is an additional preference for FEZ participants in the form of obtaining credit funds at preferential rates from an authorized bank.
As a result, this will attract new investment and projects to the region's economy," commented Irina Kiviko, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea -
Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea.
In addition, Sergey Biletsky, Vice President and Director of the RNСB Corporate Business Department, noted that the programme, which entered into force on January 1, 2022, will have a positive impact on the investment climate of Crimea and will increase the number of investment projects implemented on the peninsula by reducing the costs of financing attracted from authorized banks. On April 15, 2022, the results of the selection will be posted on the official website of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
Subsidies for participation are provided to Russian credit organizations to ensure the issuance of loans to FEZ participants within the budget funds brought to the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia for the corresponding period. The total amount of the subsidy provided to authorized banks will amount to RUB 1 billion.
