A world-class scientific and educational center will appear in Crimea

The project of the interregional scientific and educational center "MoreAgroBioTech", jointly developed by the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, entered the top five in Russia.
The winners were determined at a meeting of the Council of Scientific and Educational Centers, which was held by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and Assistant to the President of Russia Andrey Fursenko.

During the meeting, the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, presented the program of the REC "Moreagrobiotech", where a special emphasis is placed on the formation of high-tech markets, the development of marine technologies.

Specialists of the Crimea Development Corporation actively participated in the creation of the program. Thus, the REC's activity program includes the implementation of eight technological projects. These are innovative shipbuilding, marine instrumentation, agricultural technologies, personalized medicine and rehabilitation, and others.

The projects are planned to be implemented on the basis of two universities – Sevastopol State University and the Crimean Federal University. The center will be managed by an autonomous non-profit organization. Mikhail Razvozhaev and the Head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov will head the Supervisory ANO jointly. The Kurchatov Institute will provide methodological support in the work of the center.
