At one of the large wineries of the Crimea, 1.5 times more grapes will be harvested than last year, - Irina Kiviko

The mass grape harvest started at the investment project for the restoration of the production complex of the "Koktebel" vintage wines factory. The Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko announced this.

"A mass grape harvest has started at the investment project. More than 200 tons of crops have already been harvested. The investor plans to harvest 1.5 times more grapes than in the previous year. These are 15 grape varieties, including amber Muscat and pink Muscat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bastardo, Aligote, pink Traminer, Merlot, Pinot Gris and others, " Irina Kiviko said.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the process of expanding and updating the production of the enterprise is in an active phase.
Recall that the investment agreement on the development of winemaking on the basis of the property of the Republic of Crimea in Koktebel urban type settlement with the factory was signed in 2015. Today, the total area of the vineyards is more than 1 thousand ha.
